CSDP VOLLEYBALL

MISSION

Community Sports Development Program (CSDP) Volleyball's mission is to build disciplined athletes while promoting consistency, teamwork, and competitive excellence. Through structured training, skill development, and high-level opportunities, we focus on growing a strong foundation in core fundamentals of volleyball and teaching athletes how to apply those skills in game situations.

CSDP Volleyball is committed to developing the complete athlete. Our program strives to foster growth in athletic ability, character, leadership, and work ethic so that each athlete can reach their individual volleyball goals. We aim to create a positive, challenging, and supportive environment that encourages players to grow both on and off the court while cultivating a lifelong love for the game of volleyball.

OUR HISTORY

CSDP first began as CODP (Community Olympic Development Program), founded and directed by Lori Endicott-Vandersnick, a two-time Olympian who competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. The program originally started as a single training group that met three times a week for two-hour sessions to focus on skill development and athlete training.

As the program grew, CODP expanded to offer opportunities for athletes ranging in age from 3 to 14 years. Along with volleyball training, the organization also expanded into additional sports in the Springfield, MO area including tennis, hockey, and archery, creating a broader community-based sports development program.

Over time, Coach Lori began developing competitive volleyball teams that would compete within USA Volleyball (USAV). In 2012, CODP formed its first club volleyball team, competing at the highest levels of juniors volleyball. The program continued to grow, adding its second club team in 2016 at the 16U level.

In 2020, the program officially changed its name to CSDP (Community Sports Development Program). Since then, CSDP has continued to grow and has become one of the top programs in the Springfield area for volleyball skill development and athlete training.

In 2022, Lori stepped back from her role as head coach for the elite club teams. In 2025, she named Kailey Bridges her successor so she could return to the NCAA coaching world, but remains involved with the program as a team advisor. Coach Kailey has been involved in the USAV and the MSHSAA Volleyball community as a coach, club director, official, and board representative for over 20 years and with CSDP as a head club team coach since 2022. In 2025, CSDP announced the expansion of its club volleyball program, with teams competing in the Heart of America (HOA) Region and at the highest levels of USA Volleyball national competition. Today, CSDP continues its mission of developing athletes, building strong fundamentals, and creating year-round opportunities for young players to grow in the sport of volleyball.
