Coach Preston Harris, a Kickapoo High School graduate, made the most of any and every volleyball opportunity he got despite not having a MSHSAA program to compete in. He spent his high school years immersing himself in the sport and growing his knowledge by being the KHS Girls Volleyball manager.

Preston played high level club throughout high school and his team attended AAU Boys Nationals all four seasons. He also participated in beach volleyball, finishing his 2025 season in the top 15 at AVP Junior Beach Nationals. He spent his freshman year of college volunteering with Missouri State’s Women’s Volleyball team and is currently committed to play men’s volleyball at Mission University.

Preston has taken his diverse volleyball experiences and already begun using them to coach the next generation of athletes. Over the past year, he has trained with several CSDP coaches and coached within the CSDP Futures program and CSDP summer clinics. He is also a coach for Malosi Sand Volleyball Academy.
