Coach Tara Venable brings an impressive background of athletic achievement and competitive playing experience to CSDP. During her time at Ozark High School, she helped lead her team to a 2024 MSHSAA Volleyball Class 5 State 2nd Place finish and earned All-State honors in 2024 and 2025. She was recognized with accolades such as AVCA All-American, AVCA All-Region, AVCA Best and Brightest, and the Springfield Sports Commission Volleyball Athlete of the Year in the same years. She set a MSHSAA record for individual match attack percentage and broke the Ozark High School record for career kills.

Beyond her high school volleyball career, Tara also competed for CSDP Volleyball Elite club teams in 2023 and 2024 and competed in outdoor beach volleyball year-round. She earned various bids with her team to USAV Girls Junior National Championships and various Beach National Events. She was also named to the p1440 Fab 50 List in 2026.

Tara is currently a student athlete at Missouri State University and competes with the Beach Volleyball Team. She also works as a CSDP Coach with the Futures Program and a CSDP Clinician in the summer.
